About Us

After a very exciting 2004 Olympic Games, two sisters Nadja and Eileen Kapp toasted over a glass of rosé to move back home to the West of Ireland and pursue their vision of opening an equestrian store. Both sisters were competing internationally at the time, but felt home was calling and could extend the knowledge they had soaked up over the years.

Within a couple of months Olympic Saddlery opened its doors in May 2005. Exciting times ahead for the reunited sisters as they were living apart for many years and were now ready to share their experiences.

Olympic Saddlery quickly grew into a very special shop where customers love to come for a chat and get the best possible advice which we can provide as we always have very knowledgeable staff on hand.

Over 10 years on and we are delighted to be still growing and providing products and services of the highest standard.

Ordered a saddle last week and its already waiting for me?!! Great service. For the same saddle in other shops I was told it would take two to three weeks. Joe gave me loads of help and knew what he was talking about, would highly recommend shopping here.

Just had the best Customer service experience here this morning! Lovely lady served me. She was really friendly and helpful, not pushy at all. Great selection and even better prices. Delighted with the visit. I'll be back! Thanks

Having competed successfully for Ireland at an International level for over 10 years, I had the pleasure of gaining a huge amount of knowledge and experience working with elite horses while training in top Dressage yards globally. Returning home to Ireland and sharing my experiences became my passion, which I could share through Olympic Saddlery on a daily basis. 10 years on, I still feel this passion by helping customers meet their equine needs and requirements.
